I appreciated his return calls, answering texts and overall concern that I was a well satisfied customer. He was courteous, polite, respectful and a gentleman. He went above and beyond to satisfy my various concerns. My initial inquiry was just to make sure I wasn't overlooking a concern with the ramboxes other than:Ī) Width reduction, which isn't that much but I hadn't thought of the loading issue.ī) Not being able to use them with the camper on, which I can either accept or use a riser.īoth of those seem like acceptable issues for the added convenience most of the time.Wanted to give a shout out to the following guys who made my experience 1st class! I could also get a short tow behind and put a small lift and tires on it for our short excursions, but that seems like so much less fun than the turtle style camper. I can build a small riser to get it high enough to use them and I will likely build a pull out staircase in that case. My initial idea is to get a 38-42" wide camper (Palomino makes one, one other company too but I don't remember). We could easily keep that and make due but I'm trying to make the truck work double duty. Currently we camp in the quigley with no water, fridge, or lighting. ![]() 99% of the time it will be my daily driver. Click to expand.Camper is a concern but not priority number one.
